ANna Doan - Founder & CEO

Anna has led Reveal Beauty’s mission since 2007, forging partnerships with safe houses like Restore and Safe Horizons, pioneering the launch of key programs such as Reveal NYC’s annual Valentine’s Day makeover event and monthly women’s workshops, and aggressively recruiting volunteers to support throughout the year. She is compelled by the power of a modern-day Cinderella story, where positive uplifting experiences can reinforce love and healing in a woman’s brokenness and process of regaining her life.

As the chair of Reveal NYC’s Board of Directors, Anna is responsible for supporting the leadership in ensuring the organization’s brand, values, programs and financial initiatives are aligned with the core vision and strategy. Outside of Reveal NYC, Anna holds a leadership role at a digital advertising agency.

ALEXANDER HONG - Board Member & DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Alex joined Reveal Beauty in 2007 by serving hors d'oeuvres at the first annual Valentine’s Day Makeover Event. Understanding the critical need for men to participate in the healing and renewal of women who have suffered abuse, he continued serving by creating an event security team and teaching self-defense workshops. Alex has been on the Board of Directors since 2016.

Alex has also served the community in various church leadership roles since 2008, and currently manages The Hub NYC, a multi-use building owned by Hope Church NYC in Manhattan. He’s beyond blessed with a wonderful wife, two dogs & a cat, and bleeds the University of Michigan colors of maize & blue.

STEVE Mcneilly - BOARD MEMBER & Director of Finance

Steve was first introduced to Reveal NYC when he served as security for their annual Valentine's Day makeover event in 2015. He was deeply moved by the impact made in just one day.

In his current role, Steve is responsible for helping the organization steward its financial resources and ensure long-term sustainability. He is honored to have the opportunity to offer his professional guidance to Reveal Beauty and support the healing and restorative experiences it fosters for women.

Beyond Reveal Beauty, Steve runs his own financial planning firm, helping to educate, equip, and empower people to make smart financial decisions in alignment with their core values.

ELLEN CHANG - BOARD MEMBER & DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND FUNDRAISING

Ellen first volunteered with Reveal Beauty in early 2019, serving as an event host at Reveal’s Annual Makeover Event in NYC. She was so moved by the experience that she wanted to contribute more to Reveal Beauty and everything this organization does to support empowerment and healing among female survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking. Shortly thereafter, Ellen joined the leadership team heading up development and fundraising, the first time this organization has had a resource focusing on financial contributions for its important cause.

Ellen is thrilled to be working with such an energetic, dynamic, and caring team dedicated to a common mission and vision supporting female survivors. Outside of Reveal Beauty, Ellen is a human capital and organizational effectiveness professional, and has passions for travel, food and wine, health and fitness, fashion and beauty, and arts and culture…she loves exploring new places and experiencing new things!

TANYA MARQUES

Tanya joined the Reveal Beauty team in 2020 after volunteering at our last major Annual Makeover Event. It was powerful to witness first hand the transformation in the women after a day of pampering and uplifting care with one attendee remarking that she couldn’t wait to use the tips she had just learned for future interviews!

Tanya is a professional makeup artist who has worked on commercial, editorial, film, and music video sets as well as does weddings. She also teaches makeup classes and enjoys the opportunity to share her talent and creativity with other women. Tanya is honored to be part of an organization that enables her to help such deserving women recognize their own beauty.
